Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, The Tubes Classic is officially happening! As far as we know, there’s never been a surf comp at Tubes before. So buckle up. It’s going to me a contest to remember.
Here are several things to note.
- Spots are limited. The event will take place over one day, and thus there are limited spots.
- Entries open at 12 noon on Monday 31st July.
- The Tubes Classic is a short boarding event only. There is no long boarding division. That doesn’t mean you can’t take your mid-length/singefin/ twin fin out there. If you’d like to surf firing Tubes styling it out on a twin fin… by all means.
- The event will either run on one day on the weekend of the 5th / 6th August or the 12th or 13th August. We want to get the best swell for the event, thus the waiting period.
- We’ll let you know what day we run as the forecast makes itself known.
